The Virgil Crewneck in Navy
A ridiculously soft crewneck made from a Merino and Yak Wool fabric, with a tone on tone casting waistband and neckline. This sweater took its inspiration from from a sweatshirt worn by Steve McQueen in the film 'The Great Escape'. He plays the role of a US prisoner of war Captain Virgil Hilts' - also know as 'The Cooler King' on account of how often he was put into solitary!
It's a mid-weight sweater so not bulky, and due to the Merino and Yak combination, for a relatively light sweater, it is very warm also. It takes it style cues from a classic American sweatshirt, but its refined fabric and construction elevates it into something very versatile.

According to the Italian sizing scheme this sweater uses, it fits a little small - but to make things less confusing, the sizes correspond to the following traditional sizing scheme:
Size 48 - Small
Size 50 - Medium
Size 52 - Large
Size 54 - X Large
Jonathan the store owner is 182cm (6'), chest 104cm (41") and 74kg and the size 50 is a perfect fit for him here. He usually takes a Medium in most other brands.
Shipping
We ship to the US every day so it's important for us to make ordering with us as easy as possible.
We ship from Italy, and the flat rate cost to the US is €28 - that's around $30.
It will take between 6-9 days to get to you and we use Fedex most of the time.
Returns
Occasionally an item doesn't work out and needs to be returned - we don't offer free return shipping from the US, however we hear from our customers that sending with USPS is the by far the best option for price, speedy delivery and fast clearance through customs.
If you need to exchange an item, we'll send the exchange back to you for free.
