Portola Classic Taper 17oz Blue
If you're not familiar with Freenote's different cuts, you can see them all here on their site. The Portola is, in our opinion, the perfect 'regular' jean - not a 'relaxed' fit, not too slim or tight. Just a really comfortable jean that the majority of people will love. They have a slight taper in the leg with a a bit more room in the top of the leg. In comparison the 'Trabuco' model is a straighter leg with a more consistent width throughout the leg.
The fabric on these is a 17oz Japanese selvedge denim with an amazing slubby look - in simple that means lots of visual texture from the white and indigo. At 17oz this is towards the heavier end of the denim scale - but as they age these will become absolutely stunning.

If you're ordering for the first time with us and you're from the UK, we strongly recommend you read the below information so you know what to expect.
Please note that if you refuse delivery of your shipment, this will incur a significant cost for us to get the package back, and we will deduct this cost from any eventual refund we make to you.
Nobody wants this of course, so please do take a moment to read this.
Here's everything you need to know about ordering from us from the UK:
WHERE WE SHIP FROM
We are based in Italy - which means we are shipping to you from the EU into the UK.
PRICES, VAT and DUTIES
The prices you see on our website will usually shown to you in UK Sterling - and these prices are all shown INCLUSIVE OF VAT.
This is the important part - VAT is always paid on orders - either we charge and collect it, or the delivery company does - it's decided by the value of your order.
If your order is UNDER £135, then VAT remains on your order at checkout as we collect it on behalf of HMRC.
If your order value is OVER £135, then once you get to the checkout page, VAT will be TAKEN OFF - and prior to delivery, the delivery company will contact you asking for payment of this VAT, as well as an additional customs handling fee which is usually around £13.
IMPORTANT - This 'threshold value of £135 has nothing to do with tariffs or import duties - you should not be charged import duties - the threshold just decided who collects the VAT.
REFUSING DELIVERY
We get that Brexit has made everyone's life more complicated, however this information here is intended so you know exactly what to expect BEFORE you place an order. However if you refuse delivery, this will incur a significant cost for us to get the package back - and this cost will be deducted from any eventual refund we make to you.
SHIPPING
Shipping to the UK costs €17 and usually takes between four to seven working days.
RETURNS
Return shipping is not free - you can read in more detail about the return process here.
VAT REFUNDS FOR RETURNS
If you need to return your order to us, we partner with a company that can handle your request to get a refund on the VAT you paid. They take a small commission, but so far our UK customers are very satisfied with this service. We have a special online portal that you can use, and once you receive your refund from us, they'll do the work for you.
